After the holiday, the weather grew brighter and warmer day by day. Unable to resist the temptation any longer, everyone abandoned their heavy homework and left the Library to wander the lawns, relieving the stress of their studies.
Albert had just returned from Hagrid's hut; nothing much was happening in the Forbidden Forest, and Hagrid had recounted to him for the third time the heroic tale of how he had shot the werewolf Jorman right in the knee and successfully dragged the man back.
Unfortunately, the Ministry of Magic was unwilling to pay the bounty for that unfortunate werewolf, on the grounds that the werewolf Jorman had not been placed on the Ministry's wanted list. Hagrid didn't mind, but Albert held the Ministry's actions in deep contempt—what kind of behavior was it to just wash one's hands of the matter and walk away?
