The news of Snape being knocked unconscious by a giant snowman spread through the castle like wildfire, traveling at an astonishing speed. Snape didn't find any of this amusing in the slightest; every time Albert's name was mentioned, a menacing glint flickered in his eyes. He certainly wanted to make trouble for Albert, but given that Albert had already been docked points by Professor McGonagall and sentenced to detention, there wasn't much he could say. Even if he wanted to deliberately target Albert during class, it would be quite difficult, so Snape chose to simply ignore Albert's existence—and the latter didn't mind being ignored at all. For Albert, Snape not coming to make trouble was undoubtedly a good thing.
