Seeing that everyone gathered in the Headmaster's office had dispersed, he immediately perked up and leaped to his feet, knocking his chair over in the process. The loud clatter drew the startled gazes of all the other students working in the Library.
Ron and Hermione, who had been diligently tackling their holiday assignments, both turned their heads to look at Harry as he began hurriedly gathering his books. Seemingly realizing something, they started packing up their own things as well.
