Professor Snape had never imagined that one day he could be driven so furious by his own student that he would lose control of his emotions. Yet, somehow, it felt rather good. Not that he possessed any masochistic tendencies, but rather because this sensation made him acutely aware that he was alive. It made him feel vibrant. The usual deadness within him seemed to have retreated just a fraction.
