They would send you to the divine plane of your choice, but your exact destination upon arrival was completely random.
Of course, despite being random, you would never be teleported into any array-shrouded area, nor even near one. Special places were strictly avoided to prevent trespassers from accidentally entering the territory of some faction and being executed.
