She knew deep down that she could not stay safe forever. Especially now, with the new semester at G University underway and Chu Fu still nowhere to be seen. Her absence was, for all intents and purposes, a silent admission that everything the internet claimed about the frame-up was true. If the powerful Chu family in G City couldn't escape the fallout, Tang Suxin knew she certainly wouldn't be able to either. But, as is human nature, she clung to a desperate sliver of hope. She had lived with the Sword of Damocles hanging over her head and a heavy boot hovering above her heart. Now, the boot had finally dropped.
