Xiao Chen felt nothing but disdain for such underhanded tactics as secret poisoning and backstabbing. Given the current situation, however, he found himself short of ideas and solutions. Before Helian Jue had arrived, Xiao Chen had already consulted hundreds of medical texts, yet not one of them contained any record of how to treat this particular toxin.
