Perhaps many people do not realize that the Chinese language, and Chinese characters, are actually a form of writing with an extremely high level of information compression. Because of this, it is often able to describe things with extreme conciseness.
Leaving aside poems, ci poetry, and idioms, which are often likened to compressed files, even some simple sentence structures can depict grand or intensely vivid scenes.
For instance, to describe heavy rain, we do not even need excessive auxiliary descriptions; words like "pouring" or "torrential" are already more than enough.
