Just as Taiyi was venting the frustration in his heart, three figures appeared beside them out of nowhere. Their figures seemed to be a part of heaven and earth, surrounded and guarded by the laws of nature, moving entirely at their command.
They were none of the others than three of the six Sages of the Primordial World: Yuanshi Tianzun, the leader of the Chanxiu; Master Tongtian, the leader of Jiejiao; and Mother Nuwa, the Holy Mother of the Human Race.
Master Tongtian could arrive so quickly because he was close by, being right at the doorstep of Jiejiao's headquarters in the East China Sea.
Yuanshi Tianzun, on the other hand, was on good terms with Zhenyuanzi.
As for Mother Nuwa, she had likely come because of Taiyi and Kunpeng.
