Shangqing Tongtian this time lectured on the major divine powers of the Tiangang number and the minor divine powers of the Disha number.
The Tiangang major divine powers were: Meddling with Creation; Reversing Yin and Yang; Shifting Stars and Changing Dippers; Returning Heaven and Reversing the Sun; Summoning Wind and Rain; Shaking Mountains and Trembling the Earth; Riding Clouds and Driving Fog; Drawing Rivers into Land; Earth-Spanning Golden Light; Stirring Rivers and Tumbling Seas; Pointing at the Earth to Turn It to Steel; Five Elements Great Escapement; Six Jia Wonder Door; Foreknowing the Future; Wielding Mountains and Moving Stones; Returning the Dead to Life; Flying Body and Entrusting Traces; Nine Breaths of Qi Exhalation; Deriving Primordial Yang; Subduing Dragons and Taming Tigers; Mending the Heavens and Bathing the Sun; Pushing Mountains and Filling Seas; Turning Stones into Gold; Standing Upright Without a Shadow; Womb Transformation and Shape Changing; Size as Desired; Blossoming in an Instant; Wandering Spirits and Controlling Qi; Partition-Crossing Insight; Returning Winds and Reversing Fire; Mastering the Five Thunders; Submerging Abysses and Shrinking the Earth; Flying Sand and Rolling Stones; Straddling Mountains and Surpassing Oceans; Scattering Beans to Make Soldiers; Nail-Head Seven-Arrow Book.
Do not be fooled by that monkey in Journey to the West into thinking that the Disha number must be stronger just because there are more of them; in fact, every single one of these Tiangang divine powers points directly to the origin, and when cultivated to the ultimate level, one will comprehend the corresponding laws.
Take Meddling with Creation, for instance: this is the ability to create something from nothing or transform the essence of things, capable of creating all things in creation. Cultivating it to the Great Accomplishment leads to the comprehension of the Law of Creation, and Goddess Nuwa used Meddling with Creation to create humanity and attain Sagehood.
Reversing Yin and Yang: this can cause the heavens and earth to lose their order and the sun and moon to lose their regularity, much like turning right into wrong and confusing black and white. It is known as the Divine Prison Heavenly Tribulation, the reversing inn of all things, and the overturning of the universe. Yin and Yang are the opposing sides of things; this is the Great Dao of Yin and Yang, and cultivating it to the end leads to the comprehension of the Law of Yin and Yang.
Shifting Stars and Changing Dippers: this is the ability to alter stellar phenomena, capable of obscuring and tampering with the heavenly secrets. The so-called outbreak of heaven's murderous intent is the shifting of stars and changing of lodges. Heavenly secrets are akin to the will of heaven. When a Sage inspires the scheming mind, that is the heavenly secret; this is a grand art of life and death, which can shift the palaces of everything in the universe, including gods, humans, ghosts, demons, beasts, and the hundred kinds of creatures, rotating their positions. Those who choose rebellion can have their bodies killed and their primordial spirits destroyed. They can also be kept alive. This is the manifestation of the Law of Qiankun.
These major divine powers were created by the Sages to help their disciples understand and master the laws more quickly. Of course, this does not mean that once you master a law, these divine powers become useless; these are methods, and the deeper the laws you comprehend and the stronger your dharma power, the greater the might of the methods.
The most obvious manifestation of this was when Goddess Nuwa used Meddling with Creation to create humanity and attain Sagehood. At that time, Goddess Nuwa was already in the Quasi-Sage Realm and had long since mastered the Law of Creation; why did she still need to use Meddling with Creation? Why not just use the Law of Creation directly? Of course she could, but the dharma power consumed when directly using the Law of Creation and the dharma power consumed when using Meddling with Creation were different and not proportional. Therefore, Goddess Nuwa used the major divine power of Meddling with Creation to create humans, rather than directly using the Law of Creation.
This fully illustrates the importance of these Tiangang divine powers.
Although Zhou Chen had created the Mythological Daluo cultivation method, he still needed to practice some methods for self-protection. Of course, he did not need to practice all of them; picking a few capable of self-protection was enough, while his main energy remained on his cultivation realm. No matter how formidable these were, they were merely methods; without a formidable cultivation realm, no matter how skillfully one practiced the methods, it would be useless.
Zhou Chen pondered for a while and selected four divine powers to keep for self-protection:
Nine Breaths of Qi Exhalation: Through nine breaths of inhalation and exhalation, the primordial energy of heaven and earth can be converted into dharma power, which can be used for seated meditation and regulating breathing to recover one's own dharma power. Size as Desired: This is the way of size transformation, capable of assuming the form of heaven and earth while also concealing form and hiding trace. This was mainly for looking cool; after all, before traveling through time, he had yearened for a long time after seeing those immortal heroes perform the phenomenon of heaven and earth in fantasy dramas.
Mastering the Five Thunders: The five thunders are named the five thunders, but in reality, they are the five Qis. The Qis of the five viscera gather together into one before they can reach the Great Dao and master the wonderful uses of the Five Thunders. As for the offensive methods, there is no need to introduce them excessively.
Earth-Spanning Golden Light: Transforming one's body into a streak of golden light to travel across the earth, capable of covering ten thousand miles in an instant. Of course, this distance was determined by one's dharma power; although Zhou Chen was already capable of shattering the void, cultivating this Earth-Spanning Golden Light to the ultimate level could lead to the comprehension of the Law of Speed, which was why Zhou Chen chose it.
As for the minor divine powers of the Disha number:
Connecting with the Nether, Commanding Spirits, Carrying Mountains, Banning Water, Borrowing Wind, Spreading Mist, Praying for Clear Skies, Praying for Rain, Sitting in Fire, Entering Water, Obscuring the Sun, Controlling Wind, Boiling Stones, Spitting Flames, Swallowing Knives, Pot Heaven, Divine Movement, Wading on Water, Corpse Dissemination, Body Division, Invisibility, Extending Heads, Immobilization, Beheading Demons, Inviting Immortals, Chasing Souls, Seizing Souls, Summoning Clouds, Fetching the Moon, Carrying and Moving, Grafting Dreams, Dismembering, Lending Staves, Severing Currents, Averting Disasters, Dispelling Misfortune, Yellow and White, Sword Technique, Concealed Guessing, Earth Traveling, Stellar Calculation, Arranging Formations, False Form, Spraying and Transforming, Pointing and Transforming, Corpse Liberation, Shifting Scenery, Summoning, Expelling, Gathering Beasts, Taming Fowls, Qi Banning, Great Strength, Piercing Stones, Generating Light, Eye Blinding, Guiding and Pulling, Ingesting Food, Opening Walls, Leaping over Crags, Sprouting Buds, Ascending Copy, Drinking Water, Sleeping on Snow, Scorching Sun, Playing with Pellets, Talisman Water, Medicine and Healing, Knowing the Times, Recognizing Terrain, Bigu, Nightmare Prayer.
After learning about them, Zhou Chen mastered all of them into initiation relying on his heaven-defying comprehension, which was sufficient. He would know how to use them when the time came, and there was no need for deep study.
One epoch later.
Zhou Chen's cultivation of divine powers had achieved initial success. All four major divine powers were practiced to proficiency, and all minor divine powers had been learned. Next, he began to condense his own Dao body, whereupon he could truly fulfill the perfection of the Earth Immortal Realm.

Once his Dao body stepped into the space-time dimension, he would no longer have to worry about his own safety, because even if his true body were to perish, his Dao body would still remain within the space-time dimension and could return once more.
Unless his true body and Dao body were simultaneously obliterated by someone, he would truly be dead.
To destroy his Dao body, nothing less than the Quasi-Sage Realm would suffice.
After all, although Daluo Golden Immortals began to touch upon space-time and transcend the River of Time, finding his Dao body from within the space-time dimension was no easy task, and presumably only a Quasi-Sage could accomplish it.
At this moment, he could not help but start making comparisons, simply because he did not know what kind of strength his current power would equate to if converted into the present Primordial World.
Right now, he had opened up river systems himself, condensed his own Dao fruit, and fused his true spirit into the Dao fruit, attaining the longevity and lifespan of heaven and earth, entirely akin to the Daluo Golden Immortals of this Primordial World.
Daluo Golden Immortals were precisely like this—transcending the River of Time and sharing the same longevity as heaven and earth.
Now that he was the same as a Daluo Golden Immortal, did that mean his self-created cultivation method's Earth Immortal Realm was equivalent to the Daluo Golden Immortal Realm?
At this moment, Zhou Chen's eyes revealed contemplation as he pondered there.
After pondering for a while, he failed to figure it out; after all, he had never witnessed how powerful a Daluo Golden Immortal was, so he simply stopped letting his imagination run wild and instead directly entered seclusion to condense his own Dao body.
Time slowly passed, and in the blink of an eye, ten thousand years of time had already elapsed.
