Iblis got up and dusted off the dirt from her trousers. A passing young wizard caught her eye. The little wizard looked so terrified of her that he hugged the wall the entire way; if this hadn't been the only corridor, she was certain he would never have set foot here.
"Long time no see, chil—oh, never mind. God's little games are truly boring. Well, aren't you feeling much better after a good cry?" Iblis stepped forward, slung an arm around Pansy's shoulder, and struck up a casual conversation.
Pansy gave a start, desperately avoiding Iblis's gaze. "Get away from me... I have to go." Her eyes were red-rimmed and her voice was hoarse, as if she had spent a long time crying after returning to her dormitory last night.
