Snape stepped forward, confirmed once more that his eyes were not deceiving him, and felt a throbbing tension at his temples. Iblis patted Hagrid’s gently heaving belly. "I ran into Hagrid after I finished my shopping, and he even treated me to a meal." She reached out and produced an empty coin purse. "I traded the rest of my money with Tom for this trolley. If you still want the bag, it’s yours." Snape, still kneading his brow, scanned the items on the trolley and searched for something on the girl. The necessary supplies were all there; there was no owl, no other pets, and no unnecessary trinkets or toys. It seemed she had no interest in pointless things—at least she was sensible.
