Torrents of heavy rain poured down as Sara limped forward. In the flickering light of a street lamp, a few loaves of bread emerged in her arms. Though slightly crushed against her arms, they still looked remarkably fresh.
Sara’s mouth split into a wild, burning grin at the thought of those hollow eyes softening. Panting continuously, she let out a cackling laugh.
"Hehe... my child, you've finally come back... Mommy missed you so much. Mommy brought you fresh bread... She's waiting for me at home... I have to go back..."
