In the dead of night, Iblis woke from a heavy, feverish sleep. Rubbing her aching head, she stared at the ceiling of the hospital wing, the blurred dream feeling entirely too unreal. Her magic was severely overdrawn, and the constant screaming echoing inside her mind made even normal sleep impossible. Reaching inward, she sensed that her magic had begun to recover, though it was still far from its usual state. She sat up, intending to return to her dormitory to get some more rest, but the moment her feet touched the floor, a sudden, magnetic male voice startled her. "Don't be so hasty, Miss Grimm." A curtain on the far side was pulled back to reveal Snape sitting on a bed, his expression dark. A faint weariness shadowed his eyes, but his posture remained rigid.
