Holding Professor Snape, Rhea looked up at his gloomy, pensive face. Tears swirled in her eyes as panic set in; she was terrified that her relationship with him would regress to how it was at the beginning, terrified that their fledgling bond would be ruthlessly strangled, and terrified that Professor Snape would walk once more toward the future trapped in her memory.
"Professor Severus, Professor Snape, Teacher, please don't be like this with Rhea. Rhea is so scared. I promise you that from now on, whatever thoughts I have or decisions I make, I will never keep secrets from you again, okay?" Rhea said anxiously.
Her tears fell drop by drop onto Professor Snape's clothes, dampening the fabric and soaking against his skin. Only then did Professor Snape snap out of his thoughts. Seeing Rhea crying like a brokenhearted child, he pulled her into a tight, aching embrace.
