Back in the dormitory, Potter was still talking to Sirius about what had happened that night, though Sirius had originally planned to discuss it right there in the common room.
Because it was already very late when they returned to the Gryffindor common room and there was no one else around except the four of them, Sirius had sat straight down on the common room sofa, ready to share his thoughts. In the end, however, Potter had dragged him back to their dorm.
