When Camelia woke from the darkness, it was already pitch black.
She felt as though she were lying on something soft, beneath a somewhat dated crystal chandelier. Glancing around, she took in the walls covered in ornate patterned wallpaper and the exquisite antique decorations. Moving slightly, she sat up, slipped her feet into soft woolen slippers, and got out of bed.
Feeling over herself, she found that her clothes had not been changed, and the ring was still tucked inside her pocket.
