Without turning his head, Severus could already sense the commotion Potter was causing behind him, a sneer crossing his face. "Idiot," he mocked unspooling not an ounce of mercy.
"Sev, leave him alone," Lily said disapprovingly. Hearing the distaste in Lily's tone, Severus stopped mocking, feeling rather pleased instead.
"Let's get back to talking about afternoon tea," Lily didn't like talking about schoolwork either, but right after class that Potter fellow would always come hovering annoyingly, and it would take no small amount of effort to shake him off.
