As I waited patiently, it was hard to tell if my luck had turned or if it was simply feeding time. Before long, the two large birds in the nest took flight together to forage. I didn’t waste another second; watching them fly into the distance, I decisively darted into the nest to scavenge. There was nothing else there, just two gleaming golden eggs.
I gave them a tap with my finger. Their quality was truly impressive—they didn’t even crack. They felt almost like they were made of iron, which relieved me, as I no longer feared breaking them. After carefully testing them a few more times, I was satisfied they were sturdy enough. I tried to put them into my Storage Bag, but they wouldn't fit, so I had to find some random, nameless vines in the nest and strap the two eggs to my body. Then, spreading my wings, I prepared to take off.
Just as I spread my wings and started to fly out, I saw two Monster Beasts heading straight for me. Scared out of my wits, I panicked and veered off in a random direction. At that point, I couldn't afford to be choosy. Those two avian creatures were the fastest and most formidable Monster Beasts I had ever encountered. Their talons, shimmering under the refracted sunlight, looked clearly like something not to be trifled with. I fled for my life.
