Seeing that this group of people did not believe me, I said no more to them. I quickly led them back to the peak and told them to go prepare a meal first; I would bring out the cultivation techniques for them shortly. Writing down techniques was a simple matter for me. After all, I had created these five methods long ago. Even so, looking at them now, I felt there were still many shortcomings that could be improved. Through numerous ancient texts and my master’s oral teachings, I had learned that cultivation is not about speed; it is about nourishing the meridians and refining the Spirit Qi simultaneously, which makes the subsequent channeling of Qi much smoother. It is much like combat: if you rarely utilize certain meridians and then suddenly force a surge of power through them, you are bound to cause blockages, which in turn slows down your spellcasting. To reassure the group, I wrote down the five elemental techniques—Metal, Wood, Water, Fire, and Earth—for them. If they wanted to begin, they could start with these, but if they were willing to wait two or three days, I could optimize them further.
