I watched over this group of young ladies as they farmed the land for half a month. Seeing that most of their spirits had been worn down, I led them to the boats and headed toward the site of New City. My main goal was to bring those girls to New City as well. The slaves were essentially left behind to work the fields; I couldn’t move the breeding base just yet. However, I was already considering relocating it once New City was fully built. By then, the concrete roads were finished—after all, with two or three hundred thousand people working on a four- or five-mile highway, it was bound to get done. The conveyor belt was also completed. Everything was ready; all that was needed was my command to begin formal construction on the city walls. Building a new city is a monumental task, and it requires a ceremony.
