The City Lord's Mansion was finally complete, and the people we had dispatched had returned one after another. Meanwhile, the two other legions in the New City were intensifying their training. To make them look even more imposing, I instructed them to organize their own teams to participate in my official succession ceremony, and I personally crafted a banner for them that read "City Lord's Confidants." Those few words carried significant weight, keeping the tens of thousands of men awake all night as they practiced their drills, all determined to outshine the other three major legions. I also began designing uniforms for them and rushed the production, along with their weaponry. Each person was issued a long sword, a short sword, and a set of armor. Due to the limited time, we only produced 30,000 sets for now, with more to be made gradually. Since all these major legions were ready, I decided to hold a small competition for them. I divided them into four teams of 3,000 men each and sent them off to the Plains to hunt. Although there were no prizes, everyone wanted to take first place.
