To put it bluntly, the Country-Guarding Hands are simply the official Dan-tier Grandmasters of Daxia. There are seven Dan-tier Grandmasters in the world altogether who are known to the public.
The first is Zhebie, the foremost warrior of the grasslands; the second is the Great Witch of the Southern Border; and two others are Abbot Wuchen of Shaolin and Abbot Mengxu of Wudang.
As for the three Country-Guarding Hands of Daxia, because they swore allegiance to the imperial court, they are contemptuously labeled by martial artists as the Three Poisons of Greed, Anger, and Ignorance.
