The council hall was dominated by black. Its architecture was solemn, devoid of any carved beams or painted pillars, and everything inside was chosen for its practicality.
In the exact center of the hall stood a massive bronze incense burner. Unlike typical burners engraved with mountains, rivers, flora, or fauna, this one was cast entirely from dark iron, exuding a heavy, dense texture.
