Inside the inn, Lewan found it hard to fall asleep. Without her silver eye patch, she stared blankly at the ceiling with one lively, focused eye. Today's events had been momentous, too overwhelming to digest all at once, and her mind was racing with a flurry of thoughts, driving away any hope of sleep. "Sigh..." The young girl sighed softly, a look of frustration clouding her delicate and charming face. Abruptly, she sat up, got out of bed, and walked over to the window. She gazed out at the night scene, hoping that the sheer boredom of watching the bright moon and the night sky would spark some drowsiness.
