As Ulysses watched Virginia bury the body of his beloved wife, he felt the violent, chaotic magic drifting wantonly through the air, and the delight in his eyes grew even deeper. He refilled his goblet with wine, then deliberately placed it on the very edge of the long table, leaving half of the base suspended in mid-air. Yet unexpectedly, the goblet did not fall. Having done all this, Ulysses sat gracefully in his high-backed chair, his hands crossed on the table, and watched with keen interest as Virginia walked out of the manor. "Another good show is about to stage!" Ulysses chuckled softly. The moment Virginia leaped into the air, his gaze shifted to the half-suspended goblet on the edge of the table.
