The atmosphere within the arena plunged into silence. Lewan simply watched as this special legion stood completely frozen in place. Were it not for the slight movements she could detect from the eight Transcendents within the formation, she would have suspected that the army before her had somehow fallen victim to some trick by that Transcendent. Knowing full well that the gladiators would riot and the Great Demon would provide assistance, they still kept the colosseum running for the amusement of the Stru people! What was this if not courting self-destruction?
