Yet he delayed releasing his right hand to loose the arrow, for this crimson figure was far too fast, and his trajectory was too erratic. He could not be certain whether this single shot would hit the target. Now, however, his opportunity had come. As expected, this gladiator chose to charge the battle formation, and the heavy infantrymen dying in the blink of an eye caused his pupils to constrict slightly. Even so, this did not delay his movements; he swiftly released his right hand.
