At the time, he hadn't thought much of it when killing them, and looking back afterward, he hadn't felt all that much either. Yet now, suppose an entire town were enemies—aside from able-bodied men, there would be the elderly and children... Fangsheng hurriedly cut off the thought in his mind; he could not bear to think about it any further.
