Each peak specializes in a slightly different focus.
For instance, Chiyang Peak primarily focuses on fierce and domineering sword techniques; Xizhao Peak, which has many female disciples, leans toward gentle sword techniques; Tianqing Peak focuses on formations; Tonghua Peak emphasizes ferocious saber techniques; and Chunyang Peak specializes in sharp spear techniques.
Those left over from the selection trials are sometimes chosen by peaks in charge of logistics, such as alchemy or weapon refinement, since those fields require talent as well.
