Chapter 13

On the way to the station, Erwin allocated his remaining three talent points to Dark Arts Talent and Transfiguration.
His Dark Arts Talent directly reached ten points.
Advancing further would require a hundred talent points!
Erwin didn't have that kind of strength for the time being.
As for investing in Transfiguration, it was because his talent in that area was simply too poor.
He only had three points, but after the addition, it rose to five. Erwin estimated that should be enough to handle ordinary classes.
Once he arrived at Hogwarts, there would still be opportunities to earn more points, and he could deal with them when he rolled them!
After all, with so many young wizards at Hogwarts, they were practically prime wool waiting to be sheared.
Outside the train station, a Rolls-Royce slowly came to a halt.
Passing pedestrians all turned to look in that direction.
Their eyes were filled with undisguised envy.
At the entrance of the station.
A young man looked at the envious expression on his girlfriend's face.
Unable to help himself, he said, "I'll buy a car like that in the future! We won't need to look at anyone else's!"
The young woman rolled her eyes: "You? Oh, give me a break!"
The young man was about to retort.
When he suddenly felt a shadow fall over him from behind.
He turned his head to look.
And was so frightened that he collapsed straight onto the ground.
Standing right behind him was a giant.
And walking alongside the giant was a young child.
This strange pair was none other than Hagrid and Harry Potter, the destined protagonist of this world.
Seeing that he had frightened someone, Hagrid hurriedly asked, "Are you all right?"
However, the young man hastily retreated.
"You—stay away from me!"
Hagrid curled his lip. As a half-giant, he had been subjected to this kind of look many times.
Yet it still left a somewhat uncomfortable ache in his heart.
Harry Potter looked over at the Rolls-Royce, a flash of envy in his eyes.
But he quickly suppressed it.
He was going to enter the wizarding world; he was no longer the person he used to be.
No matter how rich Muggles were, they couldn't affect him.
He didn't need to envy anyone.
Having witnessed the bizarre and wondrous sights of the wizarding world, his horizons had broadened considerably.
At that moment, Hagrid slapped his forehead: "Oh no! I forgot something! Harry, you'll have to board the Hogwarts Express by yourself! I've got business to attend to!"
Harry Potter nodded: "Alright, Hagrid!"
Hagrid said, "See you at Hogwarts, then!"
A smile and a look of yearning appeared on Harry's face.
He nodded vigorously: "Mm-hmm! See you at Hogwarts!"
After that, Hagrid turned and hurried away.
Inside the car, Erwin had also noticed this strange duo.
A knowing smile formed on his face.
"Harry Potter and Hagrid, huh? This is getting interesting, Old Tom!"
The chauffeur in the front row hurriedly turned around.
"What is it, Young Master?"
Erwin instructed, "Have our people keep an eye on that big fellow. If he runs into any trouble in the Muggle world, remember to help him out! Don't make it too obvious, just let him know who lent a hand!"
Erwin hadn't forgotten that he still had a pet egg in his possession.
That pet egg needed the blood of a Magical Creature to hatch.
With the help of Hagrid, the keeper of keys and grounds of the Forbidden Forest, collecting the blood of magical creatures would become a breeze!
Old Tom nodded.
Then he stepped out of the car and opened the door for Erwin.
Erwin stepped out, and quite a few people remained standing where they were, waiting to see who would emerge from the luxury car.
Harry Potter was among them.
Seeing Erwin, the onlookers gasped in admiration, while Harry looked at Erwin's well-tailored suit.
Then he looked down at his own clothes.
A wave of inferiority crept over him, and he lowered his head, turning to walk toward the station.
Erwin smoothed his clothes.
And said, "Alright! You guys head back! I'll go in by myself!"
Old Tom bowed: "Very well, Young Master! Please take good care of yourself inside! If you need anything, don't hesitate to contact me!"
Erwin waved his hand.
Then he walked toward the interior of the station.
On the platform, Harry Potter stared at the ticket in his hand.
His forehead was furrowed with a flurry of question marks.
He had already asked several people where Platform Nine and Three-Quarters was.
Yet the station staff all treated him like he was out of his mind.
This left Harry Potter feeling rather helpless.
A rising anxiety began to take root in his heart.
Could it be that he was going to be stumped right at the entrance just trying to catch the train?
That would truly be tragic.
Just as Harry Potter was struggling with his predicament, a voice came from behind him.
"You seem to be looking for Platform Nine and Three-Quarters."
Harry Potter turned around to look.
A flash of surprise crossed his eyes; he recognized the speaker as the person who had just stepped out of that luxury car.
Erwin looked at Harry Potter standing before him.
In truth, he hadn't intentionally sought out Harry Potter.
It was simply that he had found Platform Nine and Three-Quarters.
However, he still felt that running headfirst into a solid brick wall was a bit absurd.
Even though the films and novels recorded it that way.
Erwin believed in seeing is believing, and he needed a test subject.
Right at that moment, Harry Potter, the protagonist, had appeared.
A most suitable test subject.
Harry Potter asked, "Are you a student at Hogwarts too?"
Erwin nodded: "Yes, that's right! I'm a first-year as well! By the look of it, you must be a first-year too. I happen to know how to get to Platform Nine and Three-Quarters! Would you like me to show you the way?"
Harry Potter said gratefully, "Thank you so much! My name is Harry Potter!"
Erwin nodded: "I'm Erwin Cavendish."
Harry Potter paused, startled: "Cavendish?"
Erwin smiled.
True enough, the Cavendish family was truly too famous in London.
Even Mr. Harry Potter, who lived in a cupboard, knew the name.
Erwin said, "Yes! The very Cavendish you're thinking of!"
Harry Potter swallowed hard.
A bit more awe crept into his eyes.
After all, the reputation of the Cavendish family was simply too formidable.
Erwin didn't mind.
He started walking forward.
"If you don't want to miss the train, I suggest you keep up."
Hearing this, Harry Potter hurried forward with a small trot to catch up with Erwin.
Before long, Erwin relied on his memory to locate the pillar from the original story.
Erwin pointed at the pillar in front of him: "Just push your trolley straight into it, and you'll be there!"
Harry Potter was stunned: "Run? Run right into it?"
Erwin nodded: "Yes! Charge right into it! You don't have a choice now; you just have to trust me! Besides, I have no hobby of trickery. So, are you going to try it, Mr. Potter?"
Harry Potter gritted his teeth.
He felt that Erwin made sense.
With a word of thanks, Harry Potter pushed his trolley and charged forward without looking back.
Anyone watching would have thought he was marching off to a heroic death.
Seeing Harry Potter vanish directly into the brickwork, Erwin couldn't help a flicker of surprise.
Good grief, this stuff really wasn't scientific.
Since someone else had tested it, Erwin didn't hesitate any longer. Just as Erwin was about to charge at the wall himself, he heard a commotion and turned his head to look.
The red-headed group—the impoverished souls of the Weasley family—had arrived!
