After obtaining the Chaos Bead, Tongtian did not leave immediately, but stayed in place to wait for the return of the beast. Before long, the beast hurried back. Eager to take credit, she said to Tongtian, "I chased those two people so far away that they ran off without even daring to look back. Once I saw they were gone, I came right back." Tongtian smiled and patted her on the head, offering a few words of praise, which made the mother beast roar happily.
Tongtian could not bear to tell the beast that he would soon leave the Chaos and return to his homeland. His homeland lacked Chaos Qi and was unsuitable for her survival, so he could not take her with him. The mother beast whimpered unhappily, and the little beast did the same. Like children throwing a tantrum with their father, both turned their heads away and ignored Tongtian.
Seeing this, Tongtian shook his head helplessly and promised that he would frequently return to the Chaos to see them. Only then did the two of them reluctantly and with much hesitation agree. Seeing this, Tongtian searched through his treasure trove for a few healing spiritual medicines. He handed them to the mother beast and said, "If you ever get hurt in the Chaos, eat these; they will help you recover."
