That hard-earned Spirit Pet Egg could only be hatched if we found the legendary Moon Spirit Grass, and the Moon Spirit Grass could supposedly only be found deep within this perilous forest. The cold wind howled, whistling mournfully as it tore through the bare branches. At the entrance of the forest stood a broken, leaning stone monument. The four large characters "Lost Forest" were faintly discernible on its surface, exuding a bone-chillingly eerie aura. I gripped Zhou Wan's hand tighter, feeling the warmth of her palm, and my heart settled slightly. "Wan'er, stay close to me," I whispered, my tone carrying a trace of imperceptible tension.
