On the banks of the blood-red Danube River, an altar was built using soapberry wood.
The altar was square, five cubits long, five cubits wide, and three cubits high.
Its four corners were fitted with four horns, forming a single piece with the altar, and the entire altar was overlaid with bronze. All the utensils upon it were made of bronze, and a courtyard was enclosed around it with hangings.
