Running through the entirety of Lingzhou from northwest to southeast is a river known as the Falling Blossom River.
The Falling Blossom River is a tributary of the Hanshan River, one of the five major water systems in the Northern Zhige Continent. It flows into the Hanshan River at Hanshan County in Jingzhou, located in the southeast of Lingzhou.
Since the Hanshan River flows from west to east all the way to the Eastern Territory, running in the exact same direction as the journey planned by Li Wangyi and Little Qianjun, Li Wangyi followed the advice of Hu Laoxiang and Du Ling. He descended Qingsui Mountain and switched to traveling by water, taking a boat eastward for greater convenience.
