"Awooo!" Beside the Young Maiden, the pure white little fox—Xiaoyue, which had been resting quietly, suddenly bounded to its feet. Its fluffy tail instantly fluffed out like a giant white velvet fan, every single hair standing rigidly on end and shimmering with a mysterious silver radiance that flowed like the power of the stars, bright and dazzling. Its sharp claws extended from their paw pads, each one resembling a razor-sharp spiritual blade gleaming with a chilling, formidable cold light. Baring its sharp fangs toward a pitch-black, abyss-like dense forest, Xiaoyue let out a low, angry growl. The roar was filled with vigilance and fury, like an ancient warning tone that shattered the already taut, tense, and oppressive atmosphere. Deep within its profound eyes, mysterious runes flickered in and out of view—this was the innate perceptive power of the Star-Eyed White Fox operating quietly, like a mystical heavenly eye peering into hidden perils. "What? Xiaoyue, you are..." Startled out of her wits by Xiaoyue's actions, the Young Maiden's eyes were filled with confusion and bewilderment, much like a frightened young deer.
