The Hall of Merit and Virtue occupies one end of the Five Elements Island. Before it lies a vast semicircular plaza, and the hall itself is built in an arc, featuring five multicolored gateways. The building stands five stories tall; the ground floor covers the largest area and serves as the hub for posting and accepting sect missions, drawing the highest volume of traffic.
The upper four floors of the Hall of Merit and Virtue are smaller. The second floor caters to cultivators in the Upper Three Supernatural Realms; special disciples are assigned there to assist them, sparing them from having to wait in line with the crowds below. The third floor primarily handles the distribution of monthly sect stipends and processes physical items, such as the acquisition of second-hand Spirit Artifacts or rare spiritual materials obtained in the field. The fourth floor is the storage facility, housing spirit pills, Spirit Artifacts, and various resources required for cultivation within the Divine Ability Realm.
The fifth floor is reserved for the resident elders. There are even rumors of Celestial Human Realm beings hidden in the shadows, as the sect cannot leave such an important place entirely to the disciples; someone must keep a watchful eye. These elders also oversee the Hundred Treasure Pavilion located behind the hall.
