Zhongsu thought to himself that it was time to make this deity understand that even a god could not casually look down upon mortals. He slowly straightened his body, his gaze burning like a torch as he looked straight into Loki's eyes. Zhongsu's voice was calm and steady, carrying a trace of unquestionable majesty: "Loki, do you really think your so-called majesty can frighten me? You are wrong. I, Zhongsu, have never known what fear is." A flash of surprise crossed Loki's face; he had not expected Zhongsu to dare speak to him this way. But soon, his surprise was replaced by anger, and his eyes blazed with a fury that seemed on the verge of erupting the very next second. Loki's brow furrowed tightly, his eyes narrowing slightly to reveal a deep sense of contemplation and doubt. He muttered inwardly to himself: "To think this Midgardian is so bold as to dare challenge the King of Asgard? This is sheer arrogance and folly!" A dangerous gleam flashed in his eyes, like a storm brewing and about to break. He quickly drew a sharp dagger from his waist, the blade flashing with a chilling glare in the dim light. Fixing his gaze on the Midgardian, Loki swore to himself: "I must teach this audacious Midgardian a profound lesson, so he understands the awe he ought to maintain before me."
