Xuanzang followed General Yin back to the cave dwelling on Shuangcha Ridge in a somewhat dazed state. As soon as they stepped inside, Xuanzang was taken aback.
The interior of the cave was impeccably clean and tidy. The floor was neatly paved with flagstones hewn from mountain rocks, and the stone tables and stools were so spotless they did not bear a speck of dust.
The stone table was laden with various mountain delicacies, all of them vegetarian.
