Taishang Laojun slowly said, "The six lotus platforms merely grant the qualification to become a Saint. The key to attaining Sagehood lies in the Hongmeng Purple Qi, but that does not mean whoever obtains the Hongmeng Purple Qi will necessarily become a Saint."
"The six Saints of the Heavenly Dao all achieved Sagehood through merit. Nuwa became a Saint most recently by creating the Human Race, while the Three Pure Ones all attained Sagehood by establishing orthodox teachings to civilize the Human Race. Do you know how those two in the Western Paradise achieved Sagehood?"
Hearing Taishang Laojun's words, the Jade Emperor pondered and said, "Jieyin and Zhunti founded the Western Teachings, and thus attained Sagehood through the merit of the Heavenly Dao?"
