In the Underworld, because of its proximity to the Sea of Blood, a massive influx of deities poured in.
At the head of them was the God of the Abyss, one of the five primordial deities. Although allied with Zeus, they harbored their own agendas. For instance, the God of the Abyss eagerly desired to annex the Underworld. Doing so would expand his divine domain and elevate his power, not to mention that he had long coveted Pingxin’s Six Paths of Samsara.
The God of the Abyss was exceptionally powerful. Fortunately, Pingxin had refined the origin of Hades, the King of the Underworld, increasing her strength. Furthermore, she was on her home turf and could harness the power of the Underworld itself, allowing her to trade blows evenly with the God of the Abyss.
