Joyful Embrace

Mai Cheng Huan returns home each evening to the modest rented apartment where she's spent her entire life—a small sanctuary overlooking the South China Sea that glitters like a jewel-adorned pagoda when the lights come on. In this heartfelt story of ordinary life, Cheng Huan discovers that true happiness isn't found in grand mansions, but in the endless blue horizon visible from her window and the warmth of those who share her humble home.
