Hanzou of the Salamander gently pushed open the door to Jeanne d'Arc's room, only to find Jeanne playing with two young children.
These two toddlers had been picked up by Jeanne a year ago on her way back to the village after she routed a small invading force of Sunagakure. Their parents had been killed by Sunagakure just a couple of days prior, and the little ones were huddled together begging on the streets. Moved by pity, Jeanne had brought them back with her.
