Teacher Wanjin walked along the dormitory square at Shrek Advanced Academy, saying, "Xu Jiangyu, let's go get your accommodation sorted out. Make sure you get a good rest, because tomorrow your intense studies and training will begin. The dormitory environment here is wonderful; I'm sure you'll love it."
With that, Teacher Wanjin led Xu Jiangyu toward the dormitory area, explaining various rules and precautions along the way. Xu Jiangyu followed close behind the teacher, his heart filled with anticipation for his future student life.
Xingchen of the God Realm gazed at Xiaoya, his eyes full of worry. Slowly, he spoke: "Xiaoya, the situation in the Galaxy Continent weighs heavily on my mind, but we truly cannot interfere in mortal affairs. Such is the law of the God Realm."
Xiaoya nodded gently, understanding Xingchen's helplessness. "I know, but seeing it like this breaks my heart."
Xingchen sighed and continued, "I seem to be able to catch glimpses of her destiny, yet it is shrouded in thick darkness and fog; I cannot see things clearly. Even so, sixty thousand years ago I founded the Silver Gate, hoping to bring about some turning point for this world, yet today I can only stand by and watch its decline."
His voice was laden with regret and reluctance. Xiaoya gently took his hand to offer comfort. "Perhaps this is simply the arrangement of fate."
Xingchen looked into the distance, his gaze resolute. "We cannot give up. There must be other ways to save all of this..."
Tang Chenya hid nearby, listening to her parents' conversation with boundless curiosity. She thought to herself: "The Galaxy Continent sounds so interesting! I really want to know what makes that place so special."
She decided to seize the opportunity to explore this Galaxy Continent that her parents cared about so deeply, to see if there was anything she could do to help. At the same time, a strong sense of mission welled up within her; she felt that she, too, could strive and fight for important causes just like her parents.
Tang Chenya paced back and forth near the boundary barrier of the God Realm, her heart yearning for the Galaxy Continent. Suddenly, she leaped forward, soaring upward from the skies of the God Realm. Her form shifted in mid-air, transforming into a beautiful butterfly that landed lightly within Shrek City.
The butterfly fluttered gracefully across the skies of Shrek City, bringing Tang Chenya in a unique way to a place she had never set foot in before. She looked around curiously at everything in sight, preparing to embark on her very own journey of exploration...
Flapping its dazzling wings, the butterfly departed from Shrek City and flew toward the Galaxy Continent. It danced lightly through the air, resembling a dreamy ray of light crossing the boundaries of time and space.
After a long flight, the butterfly finally arrived at the Galaxy Continent. This mysterious continent unfolded before its eyes, brimming with the unknown and the novel. The butterfly circled over the continent a few times, soaking in the unique atmosphere of the land.
Then, the butterfly took wing once more, flying toward Shrek Advanced Academy. Her heart was filled with eager anticipation to explore the secrets of the academy. Upon reaching Shrek Advanced Academy, the butterfly descended slowly. Amidst a flash of light, it transformed into a slender, graceful young maiden.
This maiden was none other than Tang Chenya. She was dressed in simple men's attire, her long hair tied up high, giving her a dashing and spirited appearance. A mischievous smile played on her lips, and her eyes sparkled with agility. Gazing at Shrek Advanced Academy before her, Tang Chenya strode confidently toward the registration desk. People all around turned their heads, captivated by her unique aura.
The staff member at the desk looked up, and the moment he saw Tang Chenya, a look of astonishment crossed his face. He blurted out, "Wow, I've never seen such a pretty boy before!"
Other students who were registering also cast curious glances, whispering among themselves: "He's so handsome!" "Who is he?"
Lowering her voice deliberately to sound steady and composed, Tang Chenya said, "I'm here to register."
Regaining his composure, the staff member hurriedly replied, "Right away. Please provide your name and relevant information."
Tang Chenya raised her chin slightly and answered, "My name is Tang Yu, and I'm from the Clear Sky Sect."
As the staff member recorded the details, he said, "Very well, student Tang Yu. Please choose the major you wish to enroll in."
After a brief moment of thought, Tang Chenya said, "I'm quite interested in the combat department."
The staff member nodded. "Got it. You'll also need to pay the registration fee."
Tang Chenya reached into her tunic, pulled out a gold coin, and tossed it to the staff member. "Here."
The staff member caught the coin, verified it was correct, and said, "All right, student Tang Yu, your registration is complete. Welcome to Shrek Advanced Academy; I hope you have a wonderful time studying here."
The corners of Tang Chenya's mouth curled up into an imperceptible smile. "Thank you," she said. With that, she turned away from the registration desk and walked deeper into the academy.
Behind her, the other students were still marveling at her looks, completely unaware that this "handsome" boy was actually Tang Chenya in disguise...
When Xu Jiangyu returned in the evening, he saw that the lights in his dorm were still on. He felt a twinge of curiosity—who could it be? It had to be his roommate.
He gently pushed the door open, only to find himself face-to-face with someone.
"Who are you?" Xu Jiangyu asked quizzically.
Standing before him was none other than Tang Chenya in men's disguise.
Tang Chenya was slightly startled, not expecting Xu Jiangyu to return at this hour. Putting on a calm facade, she said, "I'm Tang Yu, your roommate."
Looking at the "handsome" boy before him, Xu Jiangyu felt a strange sensation well up in his chest. He stepped forward, examined Tang Chenya closely, and said, "Nice to meet you, Tang Yu. I'm Xu Jiangyu."
Tang Chenya nodded lightly. "Nice to meet you too."
An awkward silence fell between them for a moment.
Breaking the silence, Xu Jiangyu asked, "How come you're still awake this late?"
Tang Chenya smiled and replied, "I was organizing some of my things."
"Oh," Xu Jiangyu said. "Well, you carry on. I'm going to go wash up."
With that, Xu Jiangyu walked into the washroom.
Watching his retreating back, Tang Chenya breathed a quiet sigh of relief. She walked over to her bed, sat down, and began to ponder her next move. She knew she couldn't stay here too long, or her disguise would easily be exposed. Yet, she didn't want to leave either, because this place held what she was looking for.
A short while later, Xu Jiangyu emerged from the washroom. Seeing that Tang Chenya was still sitting there, he asked, "Still not sleeping?"
Tang Chenya shook her head. "Not yet."
Xu Jiangyu walked over to his own bed, sat down, and said, "Let's chat for a bit."
Tang Chenya hesitated for a second before answering, "All right."
Xu Jiangyu smiled. "Where are you from?"
After a moment's thought, Tang Chenya replied, "I'm from the Clear Sky Sect."
Xu Jiangyu looked surprised. "The Clear Sky Sect? That's an incredible place."
Tang Chenya smiled. "It's all right."
Xu Jiangyu pressed on, "So why did you come here to study?"
Tang Chenya answered, "I want to learn more knowledge and skills to grow stronger."
Xu Jiangyu nodded. "Ah, that's a great reason. Do you have a goal in mind?"
Tang Chenya thought for a moment. "I want to become a powerhouse and protect the people I care about."
Looking into Tang Chenya's determined eyes, Xu Jiangyu felt a spark of admiration. "You must work very hard, then."
Tang Chenya smiled. "Not really, I'm just doing what I ought to do."
The two chatted a while longer, their conversation gradually broadening. They talked about their respective hobbies, funny anecdotes around the academy, and their plans for the future.
Before they knew it, a long time had passed. Xu Jiangyu checked the time and said, "Oh my, it's getting so late. We should get some sleep."
Tang Chenya nodded. "Mm-hm, you go ahead. I'll sit for a little longer."
Xu Jiangyu grunted in acknowledgment, lay down on his bed, and fell asleep almost immediately.
Gazing at Xu Jiangyu's sleeping face, Tang Chenya felt a wave of warmth wash over her. She knew she had found a sense of belonging here—a feeling she had never experienced before.
She stood up, walked over to the window, and looked out into the night. Silently, she vowed to work hard here and achieve her goals.
The night grew deeper, and the dormitory gradually quieted down. Only Tang Chenya's thoughts continued to drift endlessly...
