On a sun-drenched day, Teacher Wanjin led Xu Gangyu through the grand gates of the Soul Tool Academy. The academy was solemn and mysterious, filled with a profound thirst for the exploration of soul tool knowledge.
Teacher Wanjin was a seasoned and erudite mentor. Standing tall with a sharp, piercing gaze, he seemed capable of penetrating the deepest mysteries of any Soul Tool. Silver threads threaded through his hair, serving as the quiet footprints of wisdom left behind by the passage of time.
Following closely in Teacher Wanjin’s footsteps, Xu Gangyu’s heart brimved with anticipation for the year of learning ahead. Teacher Wanjin knew that this coming year would be of paramount importance to Xu Gangyu, and he resolved to pour every ounce of his effort into guiding the youth as he took steady strides forward into the world of Soul Tools.
"Xu Gangyu, starting today, we are embarking on a learning journey filled with challenges," Teacher Wanjin said earnestly, looking directly at Xu Gangyu.
Xu Gangyu nodded, determination flashing in his eyes as he replied, "Teacher, I am ready! I will study hard!"
"Good, I believe in you," Teacher Wanjin said, his gaze softening with encouragement. "The world of Soul Tools is vast and profound, requiring endless exploration and dedication. Over the coming year, I will teach you everything I know."
Inside the academy, Xu Gangyu studied with a tireless, ravenous hunger for knowledge, while Teacher Wanjin employed his boundless patience and wealth of experience to instruct him meticulously. From the fundamental principles of Soul Tools to intricate crafting techniques, Teacher Wanjin dissected every single detail so that Xu Gangyu could achieve a thorough, flawless understanding.
"Xu Gangyu, look here. This is the core component of a Soul Tool, and its function is absolutely critical," Teacher Wanjin said, pointing toward a delicate, intricate part.
Xu Gangyu observed the component closely, asking with intense curiosity, "Teacher, how is a part like this actually made?"
With a gentle smile, Teacher Wanjin began to explain the manufacturing process in detail, his words flowing as clear and smooth as a meandering brook.
"Teacher, I still don't quite understand why this part has to be designed this way," Xu Gangyu asked, furrowing his brow.
Patiently, Teacher Wanjin explained, "That is because it must coordinate seamlessly with the other components to unleash its maximum potential. The design of a Soul Tool demands extreme precision; not a single detail can be treated carelessly."
With a nod that showed he half-understood, Xu Gangyu continued to listen intently to Teacher Wanjin's lecture.
As time flowed on, Xu Gangyu gradually mastered the foundational concepts of Soul Tools. Yet, rather than growing complacent, he continually pressed Teacher Wanjin with deeper, more advanced questions.
"Teacher, what are the various sources of energy used to power Soul Tools?" Xu Gangyu asked.
After a brief moment of reflection, Teacher Wanjin replied, "There are numerous sources of energy for Soul Tools, such as Soul Power and elemental energy. Different Soul Tools require different types of power to drive them."
Lost in thought, Xu Gangyu began pondering how to apply these concepts to practical manufacturing.
Throughout the learning process, Teacher Wanjin frequently provided Xu Gangyu with opportunities for hands-on practice, letting him personally craft simple Soul Tools.
"Xu Gangyu, why don't you try making this Soul Tool yourself?" Teacher Wanjin said, handing him a set of materials and tools.
Nervously, Xu Gangyu accepted the materials and began crafting under Teacher Wanjin's guidance. Though he encountered a few obstacles along the way, he steadily overcame them with Teacher Wanjin's timely assistance.
"Teacher, I've finally finished it!" Xu Gangyu exclaimed excitedly, holding up his newly crafted Soul Tool to show Teacher Wanjin.
A look of gratified satisfaction crossed Teacher Wanjin's face as he smiled and said, "Not bad at all. Keep up the hard work, and you'll do even better."
Time flew by like a racing steed, and the year of study vanished in the blink of an eye. Throughout that year, Teacher Wanjin witnessed Xu Gangyu’s growth and progress, his heart swelling with pride and contentment. And under Teacher Wanjin's guidance, Xu Gangyu had gradually found his true direction within the realm of Soul Tools.
As that year of learning came to an end and Xu Gangyu stood on the threshold of a new journey, he looked back with a heart overflowing with gratitude for Teacher Wanjin.
"Teacher, thanks entirely to your guidance over this past year, I've been able to make such tremendous progress," Xu Gangyu said gratefully.
Teacher Wanjin patted Xu Gangyu on the shoulder and replied, "No need to thank me; it is only my duty. Remember, no matter what difficulties you encounter, you must persevere and keep striving."
"Teacher, I will! I will certainly become an outstanding Soul Tool Master and live up to your expectations!" Xu Gangyu declared with unshakeable resolve.
"Good. I believe in you. Go now, and chase your dreams," Teacher Wanjin said with a gentle smile.
Xu Gangyu bowed deeply to Teacher Wanjin before turning to leave. He knew his future would be fraught with challenges, yet his heart was filled with confidence. Watching the retreating figure of the young man, Teacher Wanjin felt a wave of deep emotion wash over him. He knew his mission was complete, yet he dearly hoped that Xu Gangyu would carve out his own brilliant legacy within the world of Soul Tools.
In the days that followed, Xu Gangyu poured himself into continuous study and practice, his Soul Tool crafting skills growing increasingly refined. Meanwhile, Teacher Wanjin quietly watched over his progress from afar, feeling a profound sense of pride and self-fulfillment. Looking at Xu Gangyu, a complex expression flickered across Teacher Wanjin's face as he slowly began to speak, "Xu Gangyu, do you know? Your mother is actually a wildly renowned figure on Douluo Continent."
Xu Gangyu's eyes widened in sudden, burning curiosity. "Teacher, who on earth is my mother?"
Teacher Wanjin offered a faint smile. "Your mother is none other than a member of the second generation of the Shrek Seven Monsters on Douluo Continent, and moreover, she is one of the Lifetime Shrek Seven Monsters. Back in the day, alongside her companions, she left behind countless legendary tales across Douluo Continent."
Caught up entirely in the narrative, Xu Gangyu listened with rapt attention, his heart brimming with deep reverence for his mother.
Teacher Wanjin continued, "At that time, there was a special bond of affection between your mother and Xu Sanshi. They weathered numerous storms and hardships together, growing side by side. Yet, due to various circumstances later on, they kept postponing their marriage, and so they slowly grew old together on Douluo Continent."
Frowning in puzzlement, Xu Gangyu asked, "Then why didn't they ever get married?"
Sighing softly, Teacher Wanjin said, "Ah, life is always full of helplessness. Some things are simply beyond our control. By the time Huo Yuhao and Tang Wutong returned to Douluo Continent, ninety thousand years had already passed. When they came back, they found that everything had changed, and they were met with nothing more than rows of cold tombstones."
Moisture welled up in Xu Gangyu's eyes; he found it agonizingly difficult to imagine everything his mother and Xu Sanshi had endured.
"Then... what happened after that?" Xu Gangyu asked, his voice trembling slightly.
Teacher Wanjin answered, "Later on, fortunately, the God King Xingchen of the Divine Realm of the continent intervened and resurrected all of them. And you were born not long after that."
Confused, Xu Gangyu asked, "Then why was I sent to Galaxy Continent to undergo trials and training?"
Teacher Wanjin explained, "This was done so that you could mature properly, inherit the will of your mother and the others, and grow into a responsible person who can carry burdens."
Xu Gangyu nodded, silently swearing an oath in his heart to grow strong and never fail the expectations of his mother and the others.
"Teacher, what kind of things will I encounter on Galaxy Continent?" Xu Gangyu asked.
"On Galaxy Continent, you will face all sorts of challenges and opportunities," Teacher Wanjin replied. "You must face them bravely, explore them, and discover your own path."
"I definitely will!" Xu Gangyu asserted firmly.
"Good, I believe in you," Teacher Wanjin said, patting Xu Gangyu's shoulder once more. "However, throughout this process, never forget your original aspiration. Always remain kind and righteous."
"I understand, Teacher," Xu Gangyu said earnestly.
"One more thing: on Galaxy Continent, you may cross paths with like-minded companions. Cherish them, and strive forward together side by side."
"Teacher, how am I supposed to find these companions on Galaxy Continent?" Xu Gangyu asked again.
Teacher Wanjin smiled. "That is something you will need to explore and discover for yourself. Sometimes, when fate arrives, they will naturally appear."
Xu Gangyu nodded, his heart full of eager expectation.
"Very well, let us leave it at that for today. Get some proper rest and prepare to meet the challenges ahead," Teacher Wanjin instructed.
"Understood, goodbye Teacher," Xu Gangyu said.
As Xu Gangyu lay in bed, a thousand thoughts raced through his mind. He thought of the stories of his mother and Xu Sanshi, and pondered his future on Galaxy Continent, gradually drifting off into a deep slumber...
Throughout his days on Galaxy Continent, Xu Gangyu kept striving relentlessly. He encountered all kinds of people and lived through numerous trials and tribulations. Yet, he never once forgot his original aspiration, nor did he ever lose sight of the expectations held by his mother and Xu Sanshi.
During one particular adventure, Xu Gangyu crossed paths with a group of companions who shared his dreams. Fighting side by side and overcoming difficulties as one, they gradually became each other's most trusted confidants.
"Xu Gangyu, we have to find that legendary treasure!" one of his companions declared.
"That's right, we can definitely do it!" Xu Gangyu said, brimming with confidence.
Continuing their journey across Galaxy Continent, they kept pressing forward in pursuit of their goals...
After a long and arduous journey, Xu Gangyu finally found the legendary treasure. Rather than keeping it for himself, he chose to share it with his companions.
"This is the result of our shared efforts!" Xu Gangyu said.
Radiant smiles bloomed across the faces of all his companions.
Following this, Xu Gangyu and his comrades embarked on yet another new journey. Their story continued to be passed down and sung of across Galaxy Continent...
And Xu Gangyu himself continued to grow, ultimately blossoming into a truly responsible individual capable of bearing heavy burdens...
