As the elevator descended toward Level -7, Lloyd completed his preparations.
First, he bit down on a small piece of wood so he couldn't speak. Then, he plugged his ears tightly with earplugs so he couldn't hear a thing. Finally, he put on the metal mask, plunging his vision into total darkness, save for the Projections left behind by the Chief Inquisitor.
