As Ye Feng turned around, the parchment ledger in his hand almost slipped away. The warm orange light from the magic crystal lamp in the kitchen spilled softly over Luna. She lowered her head slightly, earnestly tying her apron strings. Her patched yet cleanly washed coarse cloth trousers tightly wrapped around her straight calves, and the loose collar of her linen sweater inadvertently revealed the upper half of her delicate collarbones. Only then did Ye Feng realize that this girl actually had a swan neck. The young girl before him looked like a newly polished mysterious gemstone, radiating a dazzling brilliance. Her white hair, previously tangled like a mess of hemp, now hung obediently over her shoulders. After being washed with hot water, her skin had become fair and translucent, faintly glowing with a subtle silver sheen.
