The End of the Secret Passage and an Unexpected Discovery The group followed the direction in which the spider had fled, making their way with difficulty through the secret passage. The tunnel felt like a giant python slowly tightening its grip, growing narrower and narrower. The surrounding stone walls seemed imbued with a sort of formless malice, pressing inward from all sides. Every inch of space was filled with a suffocating sense of oppression. The Rune lamp in the hands of the Mysterious Traveler, which had previously emitted a soft glow, was now like a candle flickering in the wind, its light growing increasingly faint. It could barely illuminate a tiny patch of ground ahead, making them feel as though they were walking through the abyss of endless darkness, every step fraught with the unknown and fear. How much time passed, they could not tell; it felt as though time itself had stagnated within that dark corridor, when a faint sliver of light finally appeared ahead. That light flickered in the darkness like a spark of hope, instantly igniting the anticipation burning in everyone's hearts. The group was immediately energized, quickening their pace as they rushed toward the light. As the distance closed, the light grew brighter and brighter, as if calling them toward an unknown destiny.
