Over the next two days, Ling Miao and Susan pushed their cart to set up shop every morning.
True to expectations, their braised snacks would sell out shortly after the stall was opened. Susan had gone from feeling uneasy at the customers' complaints to gradually finding peace. There was no helping it; no matter how much they prepared, it was never enough to satisfy the growing crowd of diners. Her hands were moving so fast she felt as though she were striking sparks.
