Chapter 16

Following emergency treatment by the doctors, Fang Yi was soon out of danger. With his head wrapped in gauze, he paced back and forth in his hospital room, unwilling to spend a single moment longer in a place that smelled of medicine. The mere thought that Fatty Liu had dared to launch a sneak attack on him from behind made his blood boil, and he plotted to settle this score sooner rather than later. Fatty Liu's foot injury was not too serious, though he was temporarily unable to walk, and the doctor said he would have to stay in bed for at least a week. He was actually quite comfortable, finding the hospital far more pleasant than the classroom. With his parents taking turns coming to the hospital every day to wait on him hand and foot, he was having too much fun to think of going home.
